What clean means here.
Useful details before you hand an image to the browser.
What metadata is removed?
The browser redraws the visible pixels into a new file, so EXIF and other source-file metadata are not copied into the result.
Is metadata removal lossless?
No. The image is re-encoded, so file size or visual quality can change slightly even though dimensions stay the same.
Can I clean several images at once?
Yes. Up to 20 JPG, PNG, or WebP files can be processed in one batch.
Does this modify the original?
No. The original remains untouched and a new cleaned file is downloaded.
Are images uploaded for cleaning?
No. Decoding and re-encoding happen locally in your browser.
