1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of https://freebatchcompressimages.com and the image tools provided under the name Free Image Tools. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. The service
Free Image Tools provides free browser-based tools for compressing images to a target file size, resizing images, and converting supported formats. The current version processes one static JPG/JPEG, PNG, or WebP image at a time. No account is required.
3. Your images and local processing
You keep all rights in images you select and results you create. The Tools process image contents in your browser and do not upload or store them on our servers. You are responsible for keeping originals and saving any result you want to keep; the Site is not a storage or backup service.
4. Eligibility and permitted use
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. You may process only images and content you own or are authorized to use. You must not use the Site to violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, contractual, or other rights, or to break applicable law.
5. Prohibited conduct
Do not attempt unauthorized access, interfere with or overload the Site, introduce malicious code, bypass security or usage controls, send harmful automated traffic, misrepresent an affiliation with us, or use our branding without permission. Reverse engineering is prohibited except where applicable law expressly permits it.
6. Limits and output behavior
The current input limit is 30 MB, 20,000 pixels on either side, and 50 million pixels in total. Compression targets range from 1 KB to 30 MB. A reported successful compression will not exceed the effective target, but some very small targets may return an error instead. Re-encoding may change quality, dimensions, file size, color rendering, transparency, filename, or metadata. Transparent areas become white when converted to JPG. Animated images are not supported.
7. Check every result
Output depends on the source image, browser, device memory, operating system, and format support. You are responsible for confirming that a downloaded result meets the requirements of any form, website, printer, or other destination before relying on it.
8. Site ownership
The Site's software, design, text, graphics, and branding are owned by or licensed to Free Image Tools and are protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use the Site for its intended purpose. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the Site to you or ownership of your images to us.
9. Availability and changes
We may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every browser, device, image, or destination. New features may be added or removed without creating an obligation to continue providing them.
10. Third-party services
The Site may rely on infrastructure providers or link to websites operated by others. We do not control third-party content or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's own terms and policies.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how limited technical and support information is handled and is incorporated into these Terms.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and Tools are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or security. We do not guarantee that every image can be processed or that an output will satisfy a third party's requirements. Nothing here excludes a consumer right or warranty that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Free Image Tools, its operator, and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost files, data, profits, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, or use arising from the Site. Our total liability for claims related to the free Site will not exceed USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow particular limitations, so they may not apply to you.
14. Your responsibility for claims
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for claims and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful use of the Site, your material breach of these Terms, or content you were not authorized to process. This does not apply where prohibited by mandatory consumer law.
15. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law applicable to the operation of the Site, without depriving you of mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Disputes are subject to the courts or other processes that have jurisdiction under applicable law.
16. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and effective date. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the agreement concerning the Site unless separate written terms expressly apply.
