1. Who is responsible
Free Image Tools is responsible for the limited personal information described in this policy. The service is available at https://freebatchcompressimages.com. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@freebatchcompressimages.com.
2. Your images stay in your browser
Compression, resizing, and conversion run on your device using browser technologies. The Tools do not upload your original or processed images to our servers, and we do not receive, view, or store their contents. Working image data and preview URLs are temporary. Replacing an image, refreshing the page, or closing the page releases that session data. Files you download remain under your control on your device.
3. Information you provide
You do not need an account and do not need to provide a name, email address, or payment information to use the Tools. If you email us, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Please do not email sensitive images unless they are necessary for your support request.
4. Technical information
Vercel hosts and delivers the Site and may process ordinary request and security data, such as an IP address, approximate location derived from the IP address, browser and device information, requested page, request time, response status, and diagnostic or abuse-prevention events. This technical data does not include the contents of images processed by the Tools.
5. How limited information is used
Technical and support information is used only to deliver and secure the Site, diagnose failures, prevent abuse, respond to messages, enforce our Terms, and comply with valid legal obligations. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these activities are necessary to provide the requested service, support our legitimate interests in operating and protecting it, or comply with law.
6. No product analytics or advertising
The launch version does not send product analytics events and does not use advertising or behavioral tracking. We do not sell personal information. If analytics or advertising is introduced later, this policy will be updated before it is enabled and any legally required choices will be provided.
7. Cookies and browser storage
The application does not set cookies for accounts, preferences, analytics, or advertising, and it does not use persistent browser storage to save your images. Hosting and security infrastructure may use strictly necessary mechanisms to deliver the Site, balance traffic, or prevent abuse.
8. Service providers and disclosure
Vercel provides hosting, edge delivery, and infrastructure security. Spaceship Spacemail provides our support mailbox. These providers process limited information to provide their services under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information when required by law, when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Site, or with your direction. Because the Tools never receive your image contents, those contents are not available for us to disclose.
9. Retention
We do not retain images processed by the Tools. Infrastructure logs are retained according to the provider's active plan, security settings, and legal obligations. Support messages are normally deleted within 12 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for security, dispute resolution, recordkeeping, or legal compliance.
10. International processing
Vercel and Spaceship may process limited technical or support information in countries other than yours. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on the safeguards offered by the relevant provider or another lawful transfer mechanism.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator. Send a request to support@freebatchcompressimages.com. We may need to verify the request. We cannot retrieve an image from our servers because the Tools do not upload it.
12. Children
The Site is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 or any higher minimum age required in their location. We do not knowingly request personal information from children.
13. Security and changes
We use reasonable measures intended to protect the limited information handled through the Site, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy when the Site, providers, or applicable requirements change. The revised effective date will appear on this page.
